We all wonder what the future will bring. Daily news about artifical intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and automation of jobs create a feeling of uneasiness. Are we all going to be replaced by machines? Will I still be able to make a living in the future?
To many issues my initial answer is: "Life is a Bell curve".
Meaning that usually there is no simple yes/no answer, rather a distribution of possibilities.
Many jobs can and will (at least partially) be replaced by automation. On the other hand new opportunities will open up. In this "mini series" I will point out skills that evidence suggests can help us remain future proof.
